Tanta's Passing

by Osman Parvez
This morning, I learned of a very sad event. Tanta, coauthor of economics blog Calculated Risk, passed away from ovarian cancer yesterday morning. I've been a fan of Calculated Risk since I first stumbled upon it several years ago and her blogging was always quite excellent. Although I didn't know her personally, she was clearly a very smart, deeply insightful person and her contributions to greater knowledge will be missed.

More information on Tanta's passing can be found on Calculated Risk.

  1. I was a massive fan of Tanta too. Her writing was smart, funny and clear. She obviously spent a lot of time digging deeply into the topics she covered, and came back with explanations even I could understand. She will be missed.
