According to a recent Daily Camera article, the Goose Creek Path is getting an upgrade. As part of the overall $2.5 million project, the concrete installed in the '80s (underlying the creek) will be removed and trees will be planted beside the channel to make it more natural in appearance and functionality. The funding for this ACOE project came through a request by Sen. Ken Salazar, D-Denver and (according to the Camera article) was protected through appropriations by Sen. Wayne Allard, R-Loveland.
