Boulder Development Map

by Osman Parvez

Although I planned to hike and camp this weekend, rain in the mountains and a leaky tent convinced us to cut the trip short. The good news is that the break allowed time to catch up on the latest Boulder real estate development projects. I rode around town on my bike, running errands and stopping by construction sites. The result is a custom Google map with photos highlighting projects.

Green - Projects in some stage of the planning process.
Purple - Projects underway.
Blue - Complete or mostly complete projects.

Click HERE to visit the new map. It's a work in progress but should help readers get a sense of the development underway in Boulder.

Here's a slideshow of the Peloton.

p.s. If anyone has projects and pics to add, please let me know and I'll update the map.

  1. I mean, so, whoa, that's only the tip of the iceberg. What about the construction on Pearl Street? Isn't there something very large going in near the Laughing Goat, across from the Parking Garage, where the chatchki shops used to be? And then there's the new, nearly complete, building at Broadway and Canyon; and the renovations/condo construction on Spruce to that building with the pillars; and then there's an addition to a church on Spruce too. Don't know all (or any) of the names of the places, but it sure seems like there's a ton of construction going on.

  2. Thanks for commenting Anon. You're right, there is a lot of new construction going on.

    I added 1505 Pearl and the Broadway and Canyon building. Photos for those projects as well as more new construction projects will be forthcoming.

    By the way, if you're interested in making a contribution to the map (with or without photos), leave a comment or email me at osman{AT}

  3. Northfield Commons under construction: condos, town homes, row houses, duplexes, SF detached. 22-acre infill site adjoining Pleasant View soccer fields north of Kalmia between Foothills and 28th. Mostly Markel Homes construction.

  4. Thanks David. I've added it.

  5. I added some proposed locations for FasTrack stations to the map.
