by Osman Parvez

What percentage of your
waste do you recycle?
Poll response map

Original Post

Residential waste services in Boulder are finishing up the roll-out of single-stream recycling. Finally. After collection day, I noticed that the recycling bin was filling up faster than the trash bin. It's one small step...

Anyway, the question is, "How much of your waste do you recycle?" Give your response in the right sidebar.

  1. Osman, how about some real estate news? I can't wait to see the December #'s.

    My prediction is:

Much worse, with continued worseness, with the worsest still to come :)

  2. Patience, my friend. Patience. We're unrolling some new client only research for 2009 and I'm putting the finishing touches on the analysis.

  3. As always Osman, your analysis is much appreciated.

Here's a nice post from Mish I though you might like.

Oh yeah, I recycle 75%, Cheers,

  4. BTF and Osman,

  5. mesomodel, thanks for the link. It just reinforces that all the RE experts, NAR and the like, have been blowing sunshine up your @%! with their overly optimistic doctored stats.

Still, the Denver metro area is doing much better than most, but better than dead isn't saying a whole lot.

Lots of layoff's in Boulder this week, doesn't bode well for the local economy.

  6. It's coming...Boulder will feel it as well:

  7. And Mish's weekend post has a blurb about IBM layoffs coming "in batches of a couple hundred here and a couple hundred there". Will this be good for Boulder housing prices?
