We did a video evaluation for one of our relocation clients on this home the first day it was on the market. We might have even been the first showing. The home itself was quite dated and unremarkable, but the lot was spectacular. A full half acre, flat, and with picture perfect flatiron views is an extremely rare parcel of land. Plus, the home was set far back from the driveway, and far from the traffic noise on Broadway. Unfortunately, our client wasn’t interested in undertaking the remodel, otherwise we would have thrown our hat in the ring on this one. It was probably a once in a 20-year opportunity.
By the way, our video evaluations typically are about 30-60 minutes long, shot on a gimbal camera, and in high resolution. We perform them for relocation buyers who have committed to working with our team (i.e. are under buyer agency) and have a serious intent to acquire the property. These videos are intended to point out not just what’s right, but more importantly, what’s wrong with a property. It’s the next best thing to seeing a house in person.
