Mission style homes are not all that common in Boulder, but its historical significance is primarily because it was the home of Frederick W. Kohler - president of Boulder National Bank and employee of that institution for 43 years. His father Frederick was also a Boulder County Commissioner.

The location is just west of Zoe Ma Ma on Spruce, on the western side of downtown Boulder. It’s in a prime spot, although it might be too busy for some. Listed in April for $5,990,000, it took about 50 days before a buyer surfaced (not atypical for this end of the market). It sold for $5,825,000 (1.3% below list price).
